Thumbnail for Critical Role IV episode 11, with a blue emblem around the episode number and swords in the bottom corners. A split image having the effect of cracked plaster, with a photo of Liam on the left and Whitney on the right. Liam leans forward, looking worried, his hands clasped in front of him. Whitney stares off into the distance, worried but attentive, her hand resting on the side of her neck. Liam wears a dark green T-shirt. Whitney wears a white tanktop with white leather straps around her neck and shoulders meeting in a metal ring over her chest. Pink makeup paints her lips, around her eyes, and in many dots on her cheeks. A number of round silver balls appearing to be piercings are placed below her lower lip, on her philtrum, on the sides of her nose, and on her right eyebrow.

Sam drinking from a can labeled “Power!” with a lightning bolt after it, the text hand-written on green construction paper and taped to the side of the can. The image is overlaid with Python code from three different files. One file appears to implement a card game, with functions like “__deal_hand” and “__battle”, and variables like “self.player1_hand”, “self.player2_hand”, and “player1_score”. Another file calls a “merge_sort” function and assigns the result to “sorted_left_side” and “sorted_right_side”. The final file loops while a variable “low” is less than or equal to a variable “high”, and assigns a variable “median” to “(low + high) // 2” on each iteration. The cursor is after “if arr”, and a dropdown menu shows autocompletion results like “bytearray” and “AssertionError”. Matt, Ashley, and Sam sitting at the Critical Role Announcement Playhouse table. Sam’s face is covered in bandaids and Ashley reaches over to rip one off his chin. Sam looks forward, in the middle of reading from a teleprompter, but leans towards Ashley to help her reach the bandaid. Matt looks on impassively. Sam wears a purple T-shirt reading “You spoony bard!” in pixelated font, with an image of a fireball streaking towards a pixel art Scanlan from the direction of another armored pixel art character.
