Thumbnail for Critical Role IV episode 9, with a blue emblem around the episode number and swords in the bottom corners. A split image having the effect of cracked plaster, with character art of Wicander on the left and a photo of Sam on the right. Wicander is a white-skinned human with short light teal hair, almost white. He wears ornate aristocratic garb, a teal tunic with a wide white sash and a thick white metal collar draping across his shoulders and upper chest. A circlet sits on his forehead, bearing a turquoise gem with silver sun rays emanating from it. There are white lines under his left eye and a silver cap on his chin. He looks at the viewer sadly. On the right, Sam gives a toothy grin, eyes wide and almost crazed. He looks off to the side mischievously.
