  • Group begins their audience with King Augustus Valian and his court in Brauwla's Tavern by laying out the true natures of Bolaire and Occtis [ep. 39]
  • Before conversations begin in earnest, Bolaire discovers and reports that nearby there are three semi-loyalists and one spy of House Halovar working as a valet to King Augustus Valian and earns his respect [ep. 39]
  • Julien has a quickie with a valet in the Sloak barrow before Thimble finds him (not in time to watch) and they decide the barrow is a safe place to continue with a more private audience [ep. 39]
  • Much is discussed with King Augustus Valian and his court, including: the discarded heraldry of Argosia seen at the edge of Timmony, the events of Hawthorne's Glade and the fate of the Lux Bolaire currently holds, the larger schemes of House Tachonis including travel to the Sea of Lachris and threats against the Old Path, the group's intentions to rescue Ulbid Morn's petrified daughters from the Tachonis caravan, and Duchess Lisabetta Valian's suggestion to have Occtis claim rightful lordship over House Tachonis [ep. 39]

  • Group decides on their rescue mission plan: a bridge closure due to convenient repairs will force the Tachonis caravan to cross the River Viannan one carriage at a time via ferry, and while the carriage with the statues is on the ferry the group will use their unique skills to swap them out with fake statues and use the river to hide and abscond with the real ones [ep. 39]
