Brother to Thjazi Fang |
An older orc gentleman with streaks of white in his dark hair, dressed
in fairly fine but not ostentatious clothing and has smile lines at
the eyes from a life well lived. Was recently given the deed for the
dithyramb of Azgra in order to open a theater, on condition of
safeguarding it against the arcane.

Fought in the Falconer’s Rebellion with Thjazi when he was young |
Human in appearance, he is just over 5′10″, but gives the presence of
someone that’s taller than that. He is strong, lean, muscular. He has
medium brown skin and coppery auburn brown hair that’s tied back in a
braid, and a birthmark that goes up the right side of his neck, up his
face, and up to his forehead around his eye. His eyes look like a
sunset on an ocean. He’s wearing full armor. He is a member of the
Revolutionary Guard, specifically an Arcane Marshal. Along his right
bicep are tattooed the words: Have mercy on those I send you.

| Thaisha Lloy |
00:37:46 |
Hal’s former partner with whom he shares two children |
Tall for an orc, 6′4″, desaturated green skin, curly, long, dark hair
showing the beginning signs of greying. Appears in her mid-to-late
30’s. Her eyes, the scleras and pupils are black, but her irises are
silver with a ring of red, and on her hands, her fingers go red and
black at the tip. Wears the Lloy family’s colors, blood and the soot
and scale of smiths. Her clothes are fine. Fell in love with
Hal when they were 19 but was inspired by his art to go
seek her own calling as a druid. Has a wild companion named Hala, a
deer. Drunkenly refers to Occtis as her son.

| Occtis Tachonis |

Was helped by Thjazi as a child. Friend of Thaisha, student at the Penteveral |
Small in presence, about 5′11″. He is thin with dark hair and light
olive skin and bright green eyes and wears dark noble clothing that is
clean but worn. Has an array of implements around his belt and a book
strapped to his leg. Glassy-eyed. With him is a small, white and other
colors fox (Pincushion or Pin).

Served with Thjazi in the Falconer’s Rebellion |
A very tall, very powerfully-built lion man. Dark silver fur. He has a
golden breastplate and adornments that match his station as a Vanguard
Marshal. He wears purple and has a shield on his back, a cape flowing
behind him, and his feet uncovered. A tattoo runs up the upper left
side of his arm and a braid coming down from his mane onto his chest.
A soldier and a mercenary.

Pleaded with his grandmother, the Photarch, for Thjazi’s sentence to
be commuted. Aided Hal in acquiring his theater
|
Tall, 5′11″. A very beautiful young man, 28 or 30 years old. He has
light teal and white hair with teal and white robes. Has pearlescent,
shimmering tattoos all over about half of his face. Nervously clutches
a cane that he carries with the symbol of the Candescent Creed on the
top of it. Had been certain Thjazi’s sentence would be commuted. Also
called Your Radiance or the Bearer of the Filament or Wick.

Aspirant to the Candescent Creed of the House of Halovar (Wick’s Aspirant) |
Smells like a warm chocolate chip cookie laced with a little bit of
sulfur. Beautiful, with bubblegum-colored skin, white hair, and blunt
bangs that are haphazardly tucked behind a veil with a bunch sticking
out. She’s got yellow goat’s eyes, soft goat’s ears with a silver
arrow piercing through one of them, and a forked tongue. Hooves put
her at around 5′3″, not including the horns jutting out. Her tail
peeks out of just an abomination of ruffles that mark her as an
Aspirant to the Candescent Creed of the House of Halovar.

| Thimble |
02:09:16 |
Thjazi’s “partner in everything, in crime, adventure, war, and heroism” |
A very small four-inch tall pixie with short, brown hair. Has started
visibly aging since the door to Faerie closed and looks almost 18 at
this point. Her dark green clothes are a bit tattered when we first
meet her, and her wings, which are normally a bright spring green, are
almost muted. The wing is a little bent and she’s unconscious. Carries
two needles as swords. Smells of honeysuckle, something effervescent
and otherworldly. From Tír Cruthú, the land of Faerie.

Served in the Falconer’s Rebellion 10-15 years ago but ditched
Thimble and Thjazi after a battle
|
Claims to be a very highly sought-after bounty hunter and a warrior of
the people. In his mid-40s or so, and has visibly lived a hard life.
He is at the waning peak of his physical ability, but he was very
capable. He’s 6′4″, 220 pounds—“carved out of the oak that he lives
among.” He has a cowl and hood over his head, monochrome. Everything
on him feels scavenged but purposeful, high-quality and cared for but
wild and raw. Unpredictable. Has been drinking. Accompanied by a
massive juvenile canine named Wulferic, which also wears a cowl and
armor and a quiver.

Didn’t know Thjazi well, as their dealings were private and often
through and intermediary. May not have liked Thjazi, but is friends
with Hal and knows his family well. Thjazi left a letter
for Bolaire and told Hal that Bolaire will have paint for him
|
Runs a museum. Normally wears a cloak to keep a low profile, over very
fine set of clothing that’s somewhere between ostentatious taste and
trying to blend in (but really not wanting to). He wears black leather
and suede tied over an underlayer of deep red crimson. He is covered
head to toe from gloves all the way up to a high neck. He has very
long, curly, dark red hair. Wears a gray clay mask with almost black
lips and large, empty pools of blackness where each eye should be with
a cut to possibly indicate tears that run down the face. Deep within
these black pools, you can see tiny blue reflected lights, and they
blink instead of the mask, which otherwise moves like a real face. Was
meant to have a companion at the execution who didn’t show.

Old friends with Thjazi’s estranged widow Aranessa. Teaches
Thaisha and Hal’s son Al. Hated Thjazi enough to
spit on his corpse at a funeral
|
Arrives in a carriage of the Sundered House of Royce along with
Thjazi’s widow Aranessa. Human, almost 30. Lanky, compact build,
wearing a reinforced leather uniform of House Davinos, the Vassal
House to the Sundered House of Royce, that is dark purple and gray
with red trim. Has an intricate silver metal pauldron on one shoulder
and a dark green short cape with intricate vine and flower embroidery
on the other. Has long, heavily curly black hair past his shoulders,
and carries a rapier. His left hand is fully wrapped in an intricate
filigreed dark silver gauntlet. Hero of the battle of Maharlian Falls
and “the man who brought Thjazi Fang to heel.”

Was a newer good friend of Thjazi’s. Friendly with Bolaire.
Works at the Penteveral
|
A dwarf woman with long auburn hair spilling out from under a big flat
brim hat. Has a little bit of a chin strap beard, nicely braided. Her
nails are perfectly done and she has the tip of a quill pen on her
index finger. She wears a long duster jacket that doesn’t have
sleeves. It looks like she walked into a rich person’s house and saw
someone’s rug and went, “That looks nice,” and then made a jacket out
of it. Her shirt is cut to show off her “proudest asset.” She’s
missing three front right side teeth and they have been replaced with
gemstones. She looks very put together, but also there’s just
something about her that’s a little grimy, a little greasy.

Seeking the Stone of Nightsong. Knows Bolaire, who got her into
the city
|
Extremely tall. Dressed in snug obsidian leather chest armor and black
robes with pale white lacing that goes all the way up to the top of
her throat. She wears a black hood and a chainmail veil of mourning
draped over her elven ears. The part of her face that is visible is
gashed and scarred and burned with arcane magic. Carries a censer at
the end of a very long chain wrapped around her wrist. She is “of the
Sisters of Sylandri, the Fallen Goddess of Life, the Green Mother, the
Shaper of the Elves.”
